Care Instructions for Acrylic & Plywood Products
Thank you for your purchase. We hope you love your new items!
Please read carefully for instructions on how to care for your new items.
ACRYLIC PRODUCTS:
- Blowing dust away with an air compressor or hair dryer is very effective.
- A soft cloth or a duster can also be used.
- Paper towel is course and may scratch the product so use with caution.
- Do not use chemical or abrasive cleaners as it may react with the acrylic, including mirror acrylic - (think of acrylic nails - nail technicians use acetone to dissolve and remove them - do not use it on your product).
- Do not use glass cleaner on your mirror acrylic as it is not real glass. Use a soft microfibre cloth with soapy water if required.
ITEMS THAT CAN BE WRITTEN ON
- Erasing ink as soon as you're done will prevent staining.
- Whiteboard markers and chalk markers are suitable for acrylic surfaces. Erase once you're done.
- If it's been a while and you need to remove ink, use a moist soft cloth and gently work into the area. Do not scrub as it may scratch the surface
ITEMS THAT REQUIRE WASHING
- HAND WASH ONLY for items like coffee stencils, cake toppers, drink tags etc. Placing items into the dishwasher will damage and most likely deform the product due to the heat.
- Use a soft sponge if required. Don't use a scourer as the "non-scratch" surface is usually still abrasive and will leave swirls on your acrylic.
PLYWOOD PRODUCTS:
- Our items are designed for indoor use only.
- Do not use chemical or abrasive cleaners as it can damage the wood's finish.
- Avoid contact with moisture or water. Exposure to water can compromise the structural integrity of the plywood.
